ANCHOR (BOW) SHACKLE (WITH HEXAGONAL SINK PIN) SS304/SS316 Lifting Shackles
Connectors for lifting and towing
The bow shackle is a metal connection device, named for its bow-and-arrow shape. It is also known as a horseshoe shackle, B-type shackle, or bow-shaped clasp, and is primarily used in lifting and towing operations. It consists of a bow-shaped body, bolt pin, and nut. Made of high-strength alloy steel, stainless steel, and other materials, it is hot-dip galvanized or electroplated for corrosion resistance. Based on production standards, it can be categorized into three types: national standard, American standard, and Japanese standard. Available types include bow-shaped shackles without female members (Omega-shaped) and bow-shaped shackles with female members, with safety factors ranging from 4x to 6x. This device features a circular design that reduces stress concentration compared to D-type shackles and accommodates multi-directional loads. Rated loads range from 0.33 tons to 150 tons, with a maximum size exceeding 1000 tons. For both marine and land applications, it is available in various types, including lifting shackles, anchor chain shackles, and safety shackles. Applications include power generation, metallurgy, machinery, and construction. When using, strictly follow the working load limit, regularly check for deformation, cracks and wear, and keep the pins clean and lubricated.
